Provides insight and executes video production from pre-production, production and post-production, including engaging storytelling, storyboarding and script writing, artistic lighting, audio recording, non-linear video editing, and motion graphic design.
Operate cameras and audio equipment. Hands on with:
Panasonic AG-HPX 250
Canon 5d Mark III
Sony A7S, and more
Provides and executes a strategy for video including defining and driving the right voice for the audience; main focus on sales & marketing videos, content marketing; and assistance with corporate communication videos.
Assists with the maintenance and testing of video production equipment, including coordinating repairs and replacements.
Keeps abreast of current and new technologies and makes recommendations regarding the purchase of new video production equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Marketing, Communications, Broadcast or Multimedia Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum one year direct work experience with event and recorded video production and video editing.
Previous computer graphic experience on a PC platform preferred.
Advanced working knowledge of the following software is required: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic software a plus, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) Web design, HTML, CSS are not required, but a plus.
Advanced knowledge of other post-production aspects, including audio engineering, encoding Web video, DVD authoring, and project mastering.
Experience in editing and packaging video content that tells a compelling story.
Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
Artistic with a strong understanding of fundamental design skills, an eye for design, a strong sense of color, typography, and design composition
Comfortable working as a one-person-band, taking a story from idea to final product including story development, writing, recording and post-production.
Excellence in visual communication and creative problem solving.
Focus, energy, enthusiasm and team building skills are all essential to this position.
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and maintain a balance between incoming requests and existing projects.
Excellent organization skills.
Proactive, self-starter, with a strong desire to learn every day.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. on an occasional basis, and/or move up to 0–20 lbs. on a constant basis.
May require frequent standing and walking or constant sitting.
