LOCATION: West Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND or Statesville, NC


The Business Process Manager CPQ role is responsible for enabling new processes and technologies that provide enhanced CPQ capabilities for our business stakeholders globally.

The BPM in this role will act as the CPQ SME within the project team and guide clients and solution providers in building our detailed designs as well as the execution of solutions that manage the entire Quote-to-Cash process, from configure, quoting, and proposal to order fulfillment. This role will lead the expansion of CPQ utilization in our Heavy business as well as onboard the Compact business.



· Replace existing quoting application used by North America/Oceana, and enable other BUs with CPQ capabilities

· Grow revenue & improve customer satisfaction through an enhanced digital experience for our dealers and end users

· Successful implementation should result in a globally connected business, with standard processes capable of delivering world class performance

· Clarify and shape CPQ business requirements for customers in order to achieve their desired business outcomes

· Utilizes process and technical skills, as well as industry knowledge to evaluate customer needs and implement leading edge solutions

· Leverages experience in quote to order business process along with industry specific knowledge to match customer needs to CPQ software

· Facilitate detailed implementation planning, project planning and coordination around CPQ product suite

· Assist with annual resource & budget planning activities

· Govern process changes proposed within projects

· Define & maintain business processes documentation

· Coordinate “above the line / below the line” processes with global counterparts

· Maintain relationship with global affiliates & BUs for systems which are global in scope

· Lead projects to deploy new & re-engineered business processes across multiple BUs within the region

· Build & maintain end user training documentation

· Lead process training sessions with the business

· Lead transitions from project stabilization to operational support team

Business Process Fit Gap Analysis

· Participate in the fit gap analysis of existing processes

· Manage business analysts and key users and coordinate with business to make sure to bring all required knowledge about business processes on the project

· Identify ‘above the line’ and ‘below the line’ where ‘above the line’ means global standard process and ‘below the line’ means site peculiar process

· Build strong relationships with power users within business functions

· Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases

· Set up and maintain functional requirement documentation


· Design/facilitate the creation of use cases for testing team

· Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements


· Create / adapt training material

· Create / adapt training exercises for the training sessions

· Train all users


· Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience Required: 10>15 years

· Travel Required: < 20%

· CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) experience

· Business process management experience

· Management experience

· Ability to analyze and design business processes

· Ability to develop product requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community

· Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
