College Business Manager

The College Business Manager is responsible for providing support for the planning, development, and implementation of the budgets for the academic divisions and departments which the Office of the Provost oversees. This position also provides administrative assistance to the NDSU Libraries and is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of all their budgetary procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with business emphasis or 2 years of college education plus 4 years of equivalent related work experience
• 3+ years of directly related budget management experience
• Extensive experience with accounting principles, processes, and budget management
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office software experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with other units and strong customer service orientation
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to problem solve in an efficient and effective manner

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of directly related budget management experience
• Knowledge of higher education accounting and budgeting
• Demonstrated effective supervisory experience
