Training for a Hot Job Market

The job market is hot as employers locally and nationally search to find the right talent for a variety of roles. In the FM metro, job seekers can choose from many employers in many different industries.

In April 2022 there were more than 5,300 unique online tech-related job postings.

The top posted occupations in technology accounted for 230 open positions for software developers and software quality assurance analysts and testers, all other computer occupations, computer user support specialists and computer systems analysts.

In late May, Job Service North Dakota had 165 computer and mathematical jobs within 25 miles of Fargo.

With so much demand, now could be a good time to upskill or switch to a new career. Thankfully, the metro has that covered too. You can head to MSUM, Mstate, Concordia, NDSCS or NDSU to check out education options.
