In the Greater Fargo-Moorhead region, we understand the importance of speed to market. With six Document Ready sites in our region, representing more than 1,015 acres, you can get to work faster.
The GFMEDC has worked with multiple partners to build the program and qualify sites across the region as document ready, which means that a significant amount of pre-work, identification and location of utilities, and technical reporting on the properties is complete. Our Documents Ready Site program was developed in partnership with global site consultant, GLS. Each site certification is based on the level of data provided. The more site data and technical reports, the higher the document ready certification – bronze, silver, gold or the highest, platinum.
To be deemed document ready, a site has completed a litany of technical work such as soil surveys, environmental assessments, wetlands mapping or endangered species assessment.
Please see our current listing of document ready sites and know that we are constantly working with property owners to provide a range of sites in our region to serve a variety of industry needs.

The GFMEDC is proud to work with partners like Dakota Business Lending (DBL) to bring the federal New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) program to the region. DBL has received close to $100 million over the last 5 years to support projects in qualified NMTC census tracts. The GFMEDC partners with DBL to assess upcoming business expansions that may be well suited for the NMTC program.
