The Fargo Moorhead regional economy serves as a regional hub with broad, high quality assets in healthcare, higher education, entertainment, retail and logistics. The two states have among the very highest birth rates and labor force participation rates and the lowest unemployment rates in the country. The region’s labor force has grown almost 40% since 2000.
