North Dakota Programs Announced: Economic Resiliency Grant and ND Smart Restart Technical Skills Training Grant

North Dakota recently announced two programs that may be beneficial to your business as we continue to navigate the business landscape during COVID.

Economic Resiliency Grant

North Dakota Department of Commerce has recently released the Economic Resiliency Grant (ERG) program. Businesses qualify for up to $50,000 for North Dakota businesses with a single location and up to $100,000 per eligible business with multiple locations. This grant can be used for costs associated with improvements to the business for the purpose of reducing the spread of infection and instilling consumer confidence in the marketplace. Examples of eligible expenses include PPE, disinfectant, and touchless payment systems. Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with applications opening soon. More information

ND Smart Restart Technical Skills Training Grant

The ND Smart Restart Technical Skills training grant allows eligible programs to receive up to $100,000 in matching funds to support workforce re-training programs, expand capacity in current training programs, or adapt to virtual needs. Eligible applicants include North Dakota colleges and universities, business, non-profit organizations, and trades organizations/associations in North Dakota.
