The EDC is the region’s only organization charged with supporting the companies that bring new money into the area. Your investment supports our efforts to grow and diversify the economy in Cass County, N.D. and Clay County, MN.
Past Accomplishments (2020 – 2022)
The Greater Fargo-Moorhead Economic Development Corporation (GFMEDC) has always focused on primary-sector job creation and retention. To that end, we work to assist local primary-sector employers, recruit businesses and assist in new business formation. Over the past five years, we’ve been honored to work with companies across numerous industry sectors to achieve significant results for our regional economy, including:
- Projects – 100+ successfully supported projects
- Capital Investment – Nearly $1Billion
- New Jobs – 2,150 direct jobs
- Square Footage Utilized – 3.5 million square feet of utilized space
2023 Goals
With your support, the Greater Fargo-Moorhead Economic Development Corporation (GFMEDC) can continue our current projects and initiatives. We can further advance Cass and Clay Counties’ economy by engaging in new efforts to attract new companies and help local companies expand.
- Projects – Play a significant role in the successful completion of at least 33 company projects, including 12 Growth Initiative Fund loans.
- Companies Assisted – Assist at least 100 companies with needs; support at least 40 future projects; and aggregate data to support at least 2 key public policy needs.
- Play a significant role in the attraction/expansion of at least 6 targeted sector companies (AgTech, Bioscience/Medical Device, Autonomous/Unmanned Systems)
- Implement the region's first workforce attraction program that will attract at least 300 workers and increase population by 1,000.

- Monthly Economic Indicators, Cost of Living data, and periodic economic reports and newsletters
- Access to and use of marketing materials created by the GFMEDC Invitation to attend special meetings on GFMEDC projects and initiatives (minimum of 3 annually)
- Network opportunities with top regional, state and national business and elected leaders
- Recognition on Website
- Recognition on Social Media
- Opportunity to nominate board members and/or serve on the board of directors
- When appropriate, we will share your company and contact information with prospective clients
- Proactive outreach from EDC for one-on-one meeting annually with President & CEO to discuss issues of importance to you
Sponsor Opportunities and Additional Business Support:
- Must be a minimum $5,000 investor to sponsor events
