Fargo, N.D. (April 24, 2018) – Korber Medipak Systems North America, Inc. has moved its headquarters from Florida to Fargo, ND and invested in a major expansion of the Fargo site.
When Fargo Automation sold to Korber International in 2017 there were 80 employees. To date, there are more than 130 employees.
“Integration of Fargo Automation into Korber Medipak Systems, NA has gone exceptionally well. Clear communication to the employees has ensured this to be a very successful transformation of ownership,” said Kevin Biffert, President of Korber Medipak Systems, NA, “We are excited to call the Fargo region our North American Headquarters, and we look forward to the continued growth of the business through more sales in the worldwide market.”
Korber Medipak Systems NA, Inc. completed the intended purchase of Fargo Automation, Inc. assets on January 1, 2017. There were zero lost employees at Fargo Automation due to the purchase of Fargo Automation.
Korber Medipak Systems NA is a worldwide leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment for the manufacturing of products in the medical field. Fargo Automation strengthens the goals of Korber to be a single-source provider of machinery to produce medical device packaging and pharmaceutical production lines.
The GFMEDC, through its work with existing companies, helped guide the project along.
